Happy Throwback Thursday! Today our throwback year is 1974. That year, America got a new president, even though it wasn’t an election year! Gerald Ford became our 38th President after President Richard Nixon resigned in August 1974. Ford is the only person to serve as president without winning an election for president or vice president.
