We’ve come to the final episode in our theme week on the Haunted History of 5 American Landmarks. Today we’re talking about the Empire State Building, which sadly has had several deaths in its 93-year history. There are many stories of people seeing ghostly figures recreating their fateful plunges from the 86th floor observation deck. One in particular spirit has been seen on numerous occasions. Visitors report seeing a woman on the observation deck dressed in 1940s clothing, lamenting the death of her fiance in Germany before disappearing over the edge.
