November 4, 2024 – Quincy Jones

Legendary record producer, songwriter, composer, arranger, and producer Quincy Jones died yesterday at 91. He rose to prominence in the 1950s as a jazz arranger and conductor before working on pop music and film scores. He worked with artists as varied as Lesley Gore, Frank Sinatra, Count Basie, and Michael Jackson. He also composed more than 35 film scores.
