Kathy says “Marisa is an incredible person who is always helping others. She has been the co-leader for her daughter’s Girl Scout troop for many years and organizes the cookie rally. She raises money for the Flower City Down Syndrome Network by doing the Buddy Walk every year at the Sunshine Camp. Marisa tries to educate people about Down syndrome. She also volunteers to make sandwiches for Recovery All Ways and still finds time for her two children, husband and dog.
