Attention wildlife enthusiasts! It’s the 13th annual Amateur Photo Contest at The Bird House! Once again there is a special category for Legends listeners. Submit your best wildlife photo for the chance to win a $100 gift card to the Bird House. There is no entrance fee and you have until September 22 to drop your photo off at the Bird House on Monroe Avenue. See the full contest rules below.

- Birds
- Wildlife (other than birds)
- Scenery
- Pet
- Youth – Photos taken by youth ages 16 and under, in any of the four categories
- Bird House Elite – this category is designed especially for previous winners and those with a competitive drive. Go head-to-head with the best! This category is for anyone who has won via professional judging in The Bird House photography contest in the past five years, (youth is excluded) or who wants to compete with previous winners
- Legends Listeners – The Bird House has teamed up with Legends 102.7 for this special listeners’ category. Fans of Legends 102.7 can go toe-to-toe in this new category!

Judging
A group of professional photographers will choose prize winner(s) in each category
Customers will vote on a Customers’ Choice prize in each category as well
Customer voting will occur September 23rd -29th by paper ballot
Customers who vote will automatically be entered in a random drawing to win a $25 Bird House gift
certificateAll winners will be announced October 1st , 2024

Contest Rules
- No entrance fee
- Amateur photographers only
- Maximum two submissions per person
- Photos must have been taken in the wild, in the US
- Photos must not have been previously published or sold
- Photos must be 8” x 10”, horizontal or vertical
- Photos must be dropped off at The Bird House during business hours or mailed in to: 3035 Monroe Ave, Rochester, NY 14618
- Photos not picked up from The Bird House by November 30, 2024 will be discarded, unless prior arrangements are made for return by another method
- By entering, photographers give to The Bird House the non-exclusive right after the contest ends to use their photos in the store and on our website and in printed materials, with attribution but without compensation.
