This year, join us for LEGENDS Day of Hope as we support two incredible organizations with long histories of serving the Rochester community – Charles Settlement House and The Community Place of Greater Rochester. The Day of Hope will take place Saturday, December 7 from12p-4p at Ide Volkswagen in East Rochester.
Charles Settlement House has been helping residents for over 100 years to access critical human services and assisting in the creation of safe, secure and vibrant northwest Rochester neighborhoods and providing a wide range of activities and programs for all ages. The Community Place of Greater Rochester is a leading neighborhood-based community center, providing a foundation for growth, empowerment and stability. The Community Place helps all families, with programs and services including food, rent/mortgage assistance, and personal items.
Items they need:
- Wet wipes (baby and adult)
- Adult/children’s socks
- Hygiene items (toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, body wash, soap, shampoo, conditioner)
- Washcloths
- Hats, gloves, scarves
- Household cleaning items (dish detergent, laundry detergent, toilet bowl, and other general cleaning
supplies)
Monetary donations to the food pantry can make a big impact!
$25 = 11 meals
$50 = 22 meals
$75 = 33 meals
$100= 44 meals
$100 can feed a family of 4 for up to a week, $200 can feed a family of 4 for up to a month!
