Record Archive has been a music & entertainment destination in Rochester since 1975. Specializing in vintage vinyl, their 13,000 sq. ft. record store includes all of the latest music releases on CD & vinyl, as well as unique gifts & toys, vintage clothing & furniture, t-shirts, souvenirs, 1000’s of movies, audio equipment, and much more!
At Record Archive, music has been their life and passion for over 45+ years. Their massive accumulation of over 250,000 new and vintage vinyl records and 60,000+ 45’s comprise the largest vinyl selection in the North East. They sell the latest releases on CD and vinyl as well as used CDs, cassettes, 8 tracks, and even 78’s are part of their incomparable music collection.
The Backroom Lounge @ Record Archive is a one-of-a-kind live music venue, private event space, and a favorite hangout for all ages. Voted “Rochester’s Coolest Event Space” by Rochester Business Journal, they are also the 1st record store in NYS to proudly serve beer and wine daily.
