I had a messy job, a total roof tear-off with multiple layers and 80 something year old cedar shakes as the bottom layer. The man who came to do the estimate was very knowledgeable and straightforward, went up on the roof, looked around, listened to what I wanted, then did an estimate on the spot with a fair price. Since I had done some research about price and had a couple of friends who were satisfied by the work done by this company, I decided to just go with it (another company didn’t follow through on an estimate and a third couldn’t say when they could do the job, maybe in a couple of months). Well, Savage showed up on the agreed date, did what they said they would do and charged what they said they would charge, no surprises, no payment until the job was completed. The crew hustled and finished the job in two 11 hour days, they did a great job cleaning up (each day) the huge mess that was created by the old roofing. The materials used were the brand names agreed upon and the completed work looks like it should. This is how it should be, agree on a price and what’s included, do the job on schedule, no surprises on the cost, no BS. Thank you.
